The total cost for the Private Pilot is based on the highest priced C-172.

This site does not have all the fancy bells and whistles but it does contain information
for the membership of the aero club. We want to make it easier for you to obtain the documents you need. Now you can have one stop shopping for your tests and documents.

Are you ready to get involved in the world of aviation? Fulfill your life-long dream and start now to get your wings. No one is more capable of helping you reach your objective than JBER Aero Club. We strive to train safer and more skilled pilots, and our professional yet more casual atmosphere gives you the extra attention and quality instruction you require. If you are assigned military personnel, dependents, DOD contractors, Guard or retired, you are eligible to join the aero club. If you are not sure of your eligibility, please give us a call.
The aero club offers Private Pilot Ground School on a regular basis and we highly recommend that you attend a ground school in order to maximize your leaning experience. If eligible, Tuition Assistance will pay the entire cost of tuition minus the books.
We also offer VA Flight Training if you qualify. VA will reimburse you 60 percent of your advanced training cost above the Private Pilot level. If you would like more information please call John Frederick, VA Certifying Official at 753-4167.
